RSS is not dead - give me a break. BUT, there are some flaws with having it seamlessly work with mobile now. Everyone raves about Google Reader, but I don't get it! For a blogger, it doesn't promote leaving comments since you can't comment straight from Reader and have to click through to site to comment (an extra step I found myself not taking). But, the only RSS apps I could find for iPhone connected with Google Reader and not Netvibes, which is my current pick of choice because I can view the beautiful site designs of my favorite bloggers (since I'm a visual person) AND can comment within the reader. Since Netvibes doesn't have iPhone app integration (just a mobile version), I'm actually clunkily working between reading things on my phone with Google Reader, and using Netvibes from a desktop. :/

I use NewsRack on my Mac and Feedler on my iPhone. They're really well designed and I couldn't imagine life without RSS, either!

My company's looking into using social media for events and other RFID usage, so this book would better help us understand the needs and wants of social networking.

I did this last year, with the help of Mint.com, CreditKarma.com (it's so fun to pay off a bill and watch your credit score rise) and a pretty strict budget. Let me tell you, my stress level dropped dramatically.
